‘கோச்சடையான்’ படத்தின் பிரஸ் மீட் இன்று லண்டனில் நடைபெற்றது. அதில், சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிகாந்த், இசைப் புயல் ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான், சௌந்தர்யா அஸ்வின், முரளி மனோகர் உள்ளிட்ட படக்குழுவினர் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
‘கோச்சடையான்’ குறித்தும் அது தயாராகும் விதம், படம் ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ள எதிர்பார்ப்புகள் குறித்தும் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் பேசினார். இறுதியில், படக்குழுவினர் சார்பாக அறிக்கை ஒன்று தயாரிப்பாளர்களால் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.

Groundbreaking Futuristic Fantasy Film Kochadaiyaan - The Legend, combines state-of-the-art super-technology with Super-Stars Rajnikanth and Oscar-Winning Composer AR Rahman
Set to be this year’s blockbuster film, Kochadaiyaan – The Legend, is set to rival such Hollywood masterpieces as Avatar and Tin Tin. Kochadiyaan stars South Indian film megastar Rajnikanth and features the musical talents of Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire composer AR Rahman. The film is produced by British company Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited, and will be released worldwide by Eros International.
The ground-breaking film, a first within the Indian realm of movie-making, features for the first time the unique visual mastery of Performance Capturing with Photorealistic Technology. This state-of-the-art advanced technology transcends the CGI capabilities utilised in Hollywood films such as Avatar, Tin Tin and Beo Wulf.
Screen legend Rajnikanth is cast as the archetypal superhero in the epic dramatisation of good versus evil. Also starring in the grand-scale production are Bollywood A-listers Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff and South India’s leading stars R Sarathkumar, Aadhi and Shobana.
The British funded project, which has been shot exclusively at Pinewood Studios in the UK with a team of world-class technical experts, is directed by Soundarya, a talented and forward thinking filmmaker who is well versed with various trend setting techniques.
Providing the musical score is maestro and Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, whose list of Award credits includes a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and two Academy Awards for his outstanding musical compilation for the multi-Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire.
With pioneering technology, a stellar cast and a winning storyline, Kochadaiyaan is set to transcend boundaries and break records, creating a market first in world cinema.

Rajinikanth is the standard by which Indian Box Office Success is measured. To-date Robot remains by far the biggest grossing Indian movie off all time with a collection of 375 Cr. After Nov 2012 that record will be broked by Kochadiyaan!!!! Make no mistake about that.

i hav a doubt in that ..bcos tamilnatula there is no demand for animated movies compare to normal movie.thalaivar fans kandippa pappanga..kids they hav to pull their family appa than work out aagum. once again B and C audience animation padathukku eppadi varavaikirathunnu romba yosikkanum.AVATAR collection 100+ crores in india..for thalaivar movie …we hav to think only 50% of original movie collections …for eg. endhiran 100 in tamilnadunna …50 C …ippadi than calculate. once again the script hav the nativity of tamilnadu..we hav to think hw the north indians will accept the story line..the script is not a universal one like avatar or like some other comics. the movie has to be released in hollywood equal to english movies..then it has all the possibilities of making wonders in Box office.

I agree with u Shoaib..:)Sure it wil break all the records this film has all the potential & ingredients to create records. This film will cater to all the audiences, Rajini himself has said that this film will not dissappoint the fans all over the world,even A.R. Rahman has said that this film will set a new standards & benchmark for Animation films…& also ths is PCT photorealistic film which is very new to the audiences even Avatar & Tin Tin didn't use ths technique(not comparing)..u wil get a exact image of all the actors in ths technology. Producer Murali said that this film is made into two types one is to reach Indian audiences & the other one is for Western audiences so sure reach for this film Kochadaiyaan is already huge & after this international press launch this has become a popular film in overseas already, dnt worry abt India becoz Rajini & Rahman are there, no one is bigger than these two icons. All the best to the entire team, Soundarya looks very passionated superb!!!
